Whether running for the Senate or a seat in Congress, our stories begin with the initial euphoria of someone determined to make a difference. We see what it takes to assemble a team, face the challenges of raising money and tackle the issues on the campaign trail. It all leads right up to the day voters decide on November 2, 2010.

Duration : 0:4:59

[youtube 8dFiABAJHPQ]

John Mccain is a Drama Queen!

democratic congress

Barack

Biden

Boehner

debate

economy

interview

Joe

John

keith

Maddow

McCain

Obama

Olbermann

Palin

Rachel

Sarah

speech

Tax

John McCain is rapidly making his temperament an inescapable issue in the presidential campaign. Does the nation really want so much drama in the White House? McCain’s performance in recent days has been, to put it charitably, erratic. In an attempt to show leadership on the financial crisis, he has called Americans into ranks — long after hostilities began. Meanwhile, back in much-reviled Washington, the generals with cooler heads and a clearer picture of the battlefield are doing their jobs, minus all the histrionics.

Thus far, an objective observer would have to say that Congress has behaved well in the days since Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson delivered a three-page ransom note that said, and I paraphrase, “Give me $700 billion, or I’d hate to see anything bad happen to that nice economy of yours.”

Our elected representatives took seriously the urgency of the crisis. They did not fall into partisan bickering. A rough consensus began to emerge: It is important to act expeditiously but not to panic. It is unwise to give this administration — or any administration — a blank check with absolutely no oversight, as Paulson had sought. Paulson, the White House or somebody should explain why this plan will work and why some other plan wouldn’t work better. And the corporate executives who put their companies at risk and then turn to the government for a bailout should not be rewarded with multimillion-dollar compensation packages subsidized by the taxpayers.

Negotiations between a Democratic Congress and a Republican administration on these and other points seemed to be proceeding at lightning speed, given the usual pace of such things in Washington. But then, for reasons known only to himself, in charged McCain to rescue the unimperiled. Said Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), who has been the lead negotiator for the Democratic majority in the House: “Now that we are on the verge of making a deal, John McCain airdrops himself in to help us make a deal.”

At face value, McCain’s sudden “suspension” of his campaign and his call to delay the first presidential debate can be seen as pure politics. Lately, McCain has been sliding in the polls, and Barack Obama has been rising. The Wall Street crisis markedly accelerated these trends. Late September is not the time to let your opponent widen his lead.

Changing the subject, which the McCain people have raised to an art form, wasn’t an option this time — the public is hardly in the mood for another Paris Hilton ad — so the campaign had to try to somehow get out in front of the crisis. Given McCain’s initial assessment that the fundamentals of the economy are strong, that wasn’t going to be easy.

The solution was to try to make it look as if McCain were leading the heroic effort to save the American way of life. To do this, he had to portray the negotiations over a rescue plan — which had been making orderly progress — as stalled and in shambles. “We must meet as Americans, not as Democrats or Republicans, and we must meet until this crisis is resolved,” McCain said, calling on everyone to “temporarily set politics aside.”

But in trying to put himself at center stage, McCain managed to insert politics into the situation. The first issue all week on which congressional Democrats and Republicans split along party lines was whether McCain’s noisy intervention demonstrated boldness or bluster.

The surest way to derail any prospect of a timely rescue plan would be to have Obama and McCain get involved in the nit and the grit of the negotiations. The reason is obvious: The two major-party presidential candidates would never really abandon the campaign with less than six weeks left before the election. They’d just be shifting it to a venue where it could do maximum damage. The anodyne joint statement from the two campaigns Wednesday highlighting the urgency of the situation was about the most constructive thing Obama and McCain could do, next to staying the out of the way.

McCain succeeded in focusing attention on himself, but not necessarily in a good way. Voters may see this not as an illustration of brave leadership but as another example of McCain’s “ready, fire, aim” approach to dealing with any crisis. Putting himself at the center of events — making any situation all about him — is more than a political tactic for McCain. It’s his nature, and I wonder if most Americans won’t be unnerved at the prospect of electing a president who’s always so ready for his close-up.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/09/25/AR2008092503603.html?sub=AR

Duration : 0:8:39

[youtube Okj4FYgobZA]

Neo-Nazi Rally Los Angeles Paid Million of Dollars to Incite War

democratic congress

African

ALIEN

angeles

arizona

assembly

big

california

child

congress

Democrats

illegal

immigrants

jew

John

KKK

los

money

nazi

neo

Obama

Palin

parole

Party

perez

police

protesters

Racism

rapist

Republican

tea

The city of Los angeles spent millions of dollars to instigate a war between latinos, jews and the neo-nazi at a time when they say they are broke. first they bring the illegal latinos to america and give the african american jobs to pit them against each other. now they are add the neo-nazi to [...]

The city of Los angeles spent millions of dollars to instigate a war between latinos, jews and the neo-nazi at a time when they say they are broke. first they bring the illegal latinos to america and give the african american jobs to pit them against each other. now they are add the neo-nazi to the boiling pot.

i only hope that the black, whites, yellow, brown and other wake up an understand the game their enemy play to keep them filled with hate rage and anger because of the laws they pass.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY it’s not the color of a person skin it the color of their soul. They also went over the line racially by calling Congressman Lewis, one of the bravest and most honored civil rights leaders alive a … (n-word). Of course while that was happening a Tea-bagger also spit on Congressman Cleaver.
Still, the GOP honored and endorsed these actions by not only attending the rally in support of it, but by also refusing to condemn the obvious racists and homophobes that were also there. The GOP has married itself to the lowest and most base of racists and scum in this country by continuing to support that people who bring racist signs to their rallies and signs that threaten the life of the President and his family.
Make no mistake, the people attending and condoning this behavior are not Americans. They are those who openly advocate over-turning a lawful election because they simply don’t like who was elected or his policies that he said he would implement if elected. In short, they lost and they are off and determined to stop President Obama, even if that means violence. They are of course sick and deranged. Still that said, why do they have the backing of the current GOP leadership?
The answer to the above question is simple, power. The current GOP is so stung by it’s loss last year that even their formerly honorable leaders such as Mike Pence are willing to embrace the disease of racial hatred if they think they might win their votes. Of course there are the more airhead lunatics of the right wing such as Michelle Bachmann and Sarah Palin, but the truth is that they are mostly harmless idiots. When it becomes really dangerous is when you have so-called leaders of the GOP like Mitch McConnell or John Boehner who also attach their names and support to the new KKK, simply because they want the control back. They have accepted the disease as a path back to power and to with America and what it’s supposed to stand for. They would rather win by any sick and racist means and rule over a broken America, just as long as they are the rulers. We should be very afraid of and fight this illness.
So, the question becomes, does the GOP leadership have an obligation to denounce the homophobia and blatant racism of the current Tea-bagger movement or is it really what they believe? Are they as racist and hateful as the group that they seem to support or are they using the rednecks and gay haters just as a step to try to regain control of the government?
The current GOP leadership has chosen to lay down with the sickest animals of racism and hate. They have to choose. Are they that power hungry or are they Americans first.

Duration : 0:7:24

[youtube hk5hxAatYxs]

Barack Obama and ACORN to blame for the economic meltdown?

democratic congress

Barack

congress

debate

democratic

Election

Fannie

Freddie

John

Mac

Mae

McCain

new

Obama

Republican

times

York

There is alot of stories flying around about what caused this mortgage based economic meltdown. All the Republicans and some of the most conservative Democrats voted against it. Minority Leaders John Boehner and Mitch McConnell vows to repeal the decision.

President Obama will sign this into to law.

I congratulate President Barack Obama, Vice President Joesph Biden and the Democratic Congress for passing the health care reform. It was a difficult job. Emotions were high.

If the Democratic Party would have failed in passing health care reform, it’s curtains for them. Now that they pass the bill, the Democrats can sustain some of the potential losses they are facing in the 2010 U.S. Midterm elections.

The problems will now fall on President Barack Obama. There’s no more blaming former President George W. Bush, no more saying that Republicans are holding us back. No more talk about how things were in former President Ronald Reagan or former President Bill Clinton. It’s all now the current president.

I will now focus on now making sure that the Obama Administration will hold its promises of ending the wars, bring jobs to all Americans and mending fences with political opponents.

Duration : 0:4:20

[youtube 641iFcOuAXk]

Boehner Presses Speaker Pelosi to Let the American People Read Bills Before Congress Votes

congress democrats

Boehner

care

gop

government

health

House

John

Leader

Medicine

Obama

reform

Republican

Socialized

takeover

http://gopleader.gov Appearing on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) discussed a effort underway by Republicans and rank-and-file Democrats in Congress to force Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to post all major bills online for at least 72 hours before a House vote to ensure that the [...]

http://gopleader.gov Appearing on Fox News’ America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Megyn Kelly, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) discussed a effort underway by Republicans and rank-and-file Democrats in Congress to force Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to post all major bills online for at least 72 hours before a House vote to ensure that the American people and their elected representatives can review them. The effort is being led by Reps. Greg Walden (R-OR), Brian Baird (D-WA), and John Culberson (R-TX). More than 160 Members of Congress have already signed onto a Walden-authored petition that would force Speaker Pelosi to allow a vote on a House rules change requiring a 72-hour review period. He also touched on the Democrats proposed government takeover of health care and media reports suggesting that Speaker Pelosi plans to bring up a House bill that is more liberal, more costly, with more government involvement than ever before.

Duration : 0:5:21

[youtube q7iY5P7woO8]

Keith Olbermann Special Comment On Health Care Reform

congress democrats

Abraham

bald

barnes

Bart

baucus

Bill

bills

bipartisanship

blanche

blue

Brown

care

comment

congress

Conservative

Countdown

cross

democrat

dogs

faced

ginny

gop

gordon

government

health

House

hypocrite

industry

Insurance

John

judged

keith

liar

liberal

Lincoln

max

medical

Mike

money

news

Obama

Olbermann

option

owns

Party

pay

plan

Politics

President

private

prostitutes

public

reform

Republican

ross

run

sandy

sector

Senate

shield

special

system

thune

votes

waite

warned

Keith Olbermann calls out Sen.
