@tooltalk logical …
@tooltalk logical fallacy, huh? did it take you that long to look up an intellectual phrase for the term bullshit? youre really good. Wow. Your post overwhelms me and my “minor intellect.” Ill take my law degree and continue the conversation with someone else on this, thank you.

@tmoore2010 : why …
@tmoore2010 : why don’t you come back when you complete your GED? I don’t want to waste my time work some urban redneck libtards who doesn’t understand what a “logical fallacy” is.

@tooltalk your an …
@tooltalk your an idiot. Cenk is a former repbulican and he calls everyone out. dem , repub, lib, con, and so on. Dont speak on people to which your knowledge is based off of one video report.

Republicans are …
Republicans are beyond absurd and blatantly transparent in their attempts to destroy America.

Clinton may have had problems with de-regulation like Bush…
BUT!!! Clinton left office with TRILLIONS in surpluses!!!
Bush (not just an ass) left this country in ruins with TRILLIONS in debt.
Thats why Clinton gets a pass and why Bush gets laughed at.
Clinton, despite his flows, had grate economic policies.
Remember that before you make crapy arguments against liberals. ^_^

@WolverineDeus-Don’t argue with idiots.
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
@genie0390- …
@genie0390-Seriously, shut up. The (R)’s controlled congress under Clinton and Bush but did nothing but talk loud. What do you mean by “block”? You can only block a bill from being debated if you have the majority/speaker of the house, the (D)’s didn’t. A filibuster is not a block. The only reason the (D)’s were challenging the issue because they didn’t know Raines was (an asshole) forging the books. You’re the idiot, Freddie/Fannie only contributed less than 10% of the housing crisis. Silence.

@WolverineDeus
why am I not surprised?
you are such a brain washed fool that when Bill Clinton admits to making a big mistake when HE deregulated banks and financial entities, you still blame Bush!
when it’s a matter of record that the Bush administration tried to regulate Freddie/Fannie, the gov’t backed entities that virtually everyone with a brain blames for the sub-prime mess, twice in 2001 and 2004/05 with the Dems blocking the move, you still blame Bush
idiot!!!!

@WolverineDeus
you talk about the Bush administration failing to regulate the financial industry?
I guess you didn’t view a clip by TYT wherein Bill Clinton, a liberal, admits to making big mistakes with his de-regulations in 1999
according to your pissheaded views, the liberals/progressives are always without blame, the GOP are the bad guys,…the reverse is almost always true
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
@diegopmc : more …
@diegopmc : more critical issues like economy, for which Paul is really known. You may not understand Paul on all economic issues (I often have to pause and think), but his arguments are well-thoughtout and even provocative.
But again, I’ve never set my expectation that high and I don’t understand why folks consider this TYT a “truthier” form of journalism. It’s a vaudeville – it’s an entertainment, not informative; sometimes controversial in a very shallow way.
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
@diegopmc : no, …
@diegopmc : no, it’s not unavoidable – comparing TYT to FF isn’t saying much.
Do you also not realize that TYT is targeting folks with certain political orientation for? In another word, Cenks channel, The Young Turk, is an echo chamber for liberals to come and reinforce their group-think. All they are doing is to feed liberals viewers what they want to hear in ways they can feel good about themselves. That’s why Cenks only invites guests like Paul on issues like Bush and wars, but not on
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
@veksink Yes they …
@veksink Yes they are, and you guys blame conservatives, when Bush went along with Barney Frank, Dodd, and Acorn. Dont forget easy money from the Fed, and govt sponsored enterprises Fannie, freddie, buying the subprime crap from the banks. Oh, forget it, blame Wall Street?

Mitch McConnell is …
Mitch McConnell is a bad human being. If Pelosi and Reid are divisive, McConnell and Boehner are political warmongers.
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
I think we should …
I think we should impliment some kind of Logan’s Run law. If you are a certain level of old (aka completely out of touch with people under 65) or if you have been in power for a certain length of time you should be barred from serving. Think about it, a huge percentage of the federal government classify as senior citizens; and if there’s one thing seniors are known for it’s out of date ideals and being irrationally stuck in their ways. Who better to run your day to day life in this modern world?
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
@genie0390 The fact …
@genie0390 The fact that I have degrees in several disciplines is merely evidence that I have learned to think — something which you apparently managed to avoid having to even attempt, given your blame-the-victim philosophy and your refusal to acknowledge that it was the greed of the financiers and the malfeasance of the GOP administration in Washington in failing to regulate the financial industry which caused the disaster, not the first time home-buyers trying to better themselves.
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
@genie0390 Your …
@genie0390 Your post is completely ad hominem. What I said about academic credentials is BFD – “Big Deal”. It was stuck-up credential-Nazis like YOU who caused the collapse of the markets, and it was stuck-up lawyers with advanced law degrees who broke all of the laws and went to prison over Watergate. You prove my dad’s aphorism that “There are a helluva lot of people walking around today with college degrees and 8th-grade educations.”

having a degree in English sure does give you a heads up on understanding complex finance/economics concepts, derivatives, CDS, international money markets, business practices, credit, complex accounting rules and principles and their impact regarding the meltdown,..stuff like that!

@tooltalk Sure they …
@tooltalk Sure they have bias (it’s unavoidable), but unlike Fox and Friends they often make it quite clear when they give an opinion and not facts.
About Ron Paul: maybe you have a point, but he’s not their only R guest. Not to mention that Cenk claimed he doesn’t even agree with him on a lot of issues.
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
@tooltalk of course …
@tooltalk of course they have an agenda and bias but they tell it a heck of a lot closer to the truth than beck limbaugh o reilly hannity and all the rest and im not even american and don’t even live in the states
americans have such short term memory and ur media especially radio does not help. I can’t believe that ur radio hosts actually endorse crap as adds in europe that wud be selling ur soul how can anybody believe anything they say
May 11th, 2010 at 3:04 pm
@diegopmc : well, …
@diegopmc : well, Maddow and many other liberal media had Ron Paul on just b/c he spoke out against Bush, not b/c they are independent (ie, your enemy’s enemy is your friend).
I don’t understand why anyone would take TYT as serious journalism – I mean, I don’t think they are pretending to be neutral, unbiased reporters. It’s rather clear to me that they look to Jon Steward’s Dailyshow or Bill Maher’s Realtime for inspiration.

Did he say ” …
Did he say “Bail-out Fun”?
Guess it depends on who’s stuck with re-paying the bail-out.
And, Bank funded? The Banks print money that “We the People” are left responsible for making that printed paper have value.
Republicans and Democrats are both guilty as of treason, period.
Benjamin Franklin -
“When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the Republic.”
