When the GOP takes back Congress in November will they finally have the balls to run this country like they?

SHOULD HAVE when they had control and a Republican President?

Or will we have more RINO BIPARTISAN BULLSHlT like that of McCain and Lindsey Graham?

I was hopeful when they took control under Clinton and Newt lead the charge with his contract with american slogan. They turned out to get drunk on the power just like the dems and didn’t do what they could have or should have done. Let’s pray they learned from that lesson and this time will do the right thing, the first of which should be to take pelosi’s jet away from her.

no, they are gonna let the corporations take back all the money they lost in the recession and tax the poor and middle class while not paying their own taxes because they are too busy playing golf.

You mean like the 12 years they held Congress, had several budget surpluses and a total deficit of less than what Obama and Company have proposed for one year?

Go look up your own figures. I am tired of having to link and educate every time someone demonstrates abject ignorance.

If you like losing keep rooting for you Palins…listen…I am a conservative who wants to right this mess and being moderate is what will work…fiscal conservatism may fly if we can just stop depending on those right wingers who shove their bibles down everyones throats…it has no place in politics.

This depends how active the tea party people are in the Republican Primaries. McCain himself may not win the Republican nod. Hopefully he will not. The RINO governor of Florida who wanted to get the Republican nod for U.S. Senator from Florida may loose to a guy who is actually conservative. We have to be active in the primaries. If we are, this time around may well be different.

First, don’t put the cart before the horse. While it’s not looking too great for the Democrats right now, things can dramatically change in a short period of time.
Second, remember that there is still a Democrat President. If by some chance the Republicans would win control of both the House and Senate, they still have to deal with the president. This could lead to gridlock, which I personally prefer (if they can’t get anything done, then they can’t screw things up any worse than they already have).

Bob, I love the commercials. Anyway…I don’t think having a Republican Congress will be much better. Don’t get me wrong. It will be better, but not a whole lot better. Bush was not that great a president either. What Americans need is to throw out the entire two party system. With the majority of the people in the country choosing to side with one or the other, it creates a divide across the nation. So most of the time spent analyzing politics is wasted on petty b/s. The country does better historically, when the opposite party of the president has the majority in congress. That was mostly because of the design of the government with the check and balance system. Anyway, I like the question. Keep smiling Bob.

Depends on us, the voters. We have always been the fourth check and balance to the federal government. But we must pay attention and hold them to their words, or else vote them out.

I guess that means turning off the internet porn and reading some news. Turning off American Idol and watching the so-called news on TV. Buying a newspaper subscription. Talking politics around the cooler instead of Survivor.

So no, more of the same.

the Message from Massachusetts told both parties to clean up their acts, if the Republicans don’t understand that message, they deserve all the ”change’ they receive.
