Sen. Jim DeMint does an interview with Fox News live from the 9/12 Taxpayer March in Washington, where he immediately corects Brian Wilson and says there are “not tens of thousands” of people there, but “hundreds of thousands.”
DeMint said he was “proud” to be part of those protesting against a government takeover. “I’m more comfortable with these people than I am (with) the ones in front of me in Congress,” he said.

Ok tea baggers…. where are all those “DON’T TREAD ON ME” flags? I expect to see you all in Arizona flying them. Otherwise, you are nothing but a bunch of blow hard puppets for Fox “News” and the RNC.
“Let me see your papers.” I usually don’t like to compare things to Nazi Germany…. but THAT my friend sounds like Nazi Germany.

@poindexterwitkowsky – Conservative Republicans were disgusted with Bush’s spending, refused to vote for neocon McCain & stayed home (unfortunately). However, fact proves Bush did send 25 requests in 1 yr alone to regulate Fannie Mae&Mac b/c of subprime lending & the Dems (& a few neocons) voted it down. Get the govt OUT & let the free mkt resolve itself-laws are already in place including bankruptcy laws to restructure;it doesn’t & shouldn’t be on the shoulders of taxpayers..

@BoomerNavy70 -TeaParty members fall within the exact same demographics as this nation. 11-13% of the US population is African American…remember 96% of AA voted for Obama -it might take awhile, but AA conservatives are growing & Tea Partyies welcome it…we’re tired of being falsely accused of being “racist”.

@BoomerNavy70 – …
@BoomerNavy70 – Tea Parties across the nation have had African American speakers such as Alfonzo Rachel, Herman Cain, Bill Randall, Felice Pete, Charles Early, Sonnie Johnson, Jamal Greene & others. ALL races & creeds who believe in limited govt & pro-constitution values are very much welcome & encouraged to be in the TP movement.

The rest of the world often comments that we Americans are arrogant…that we don’t learn from history and that we are quick to forget it. I have one question for you so called “patriots” against Obama. Where were you during Bush’s eight years when the U.S. constitution was TRAMPLED UPON, SPIT UPON AND STUCK WITH KNIVES? Now that we have a Black president you decide to rear your racist heads. You are nothing but a bunch of BIGOTS.

You weird americans have always puzzled me. Why won’t you even let Obama try to help out people without the economy to pay for incurrence with this health care bill? Not that it would do much, its way to conservative. But still, it would be a nice step in the right direction at least.

The Healthcare Bill …
The Healthcare Bill is going to pass one way or the other so get used to it.
The Republicans had 12 years to address the situation and do something about it. Where were all those bright god ideas you are all talking about now?
The conservatives couldn’t come up with a bright idea if God appeared on a cloud decending from Heaven and whacked you over the the with it. You will still be ignorant enough to tell him he is wrong because it wasn’t your idea.

Typical of “so …
Typical of “so called conservatives” scream and yell NO TAXES, are quick to start never-ending wars, unwilling to pay for them, instead want more tax cuts. That’s why our national debt went from 5.7trillion to 10.6 trillion under Bush. Not to mention the trillions in bailouts to fix the crashed economy their failed policies created in the first place. Don’t believe me? EDUCATE YOURSELF
GOOGLE US treasury website: “us treasury debt to the penny” SEE FOR YOURSELF.

There were only 4 original pages of Constitution of the United States of America, at the present it is less than 20 pages. Why is it that a document this size can & has ran the most powerful country in the world but the Dems say that we need a Bill that is over 2,000 pages to run health care? This makes no sense at all.
May 31st, 2010 at 10:29 am
My point is that …
My point is that The Constitution of the United States of America was written with honesty and it was direct to the point with nothing to hide. Every American could read it and every American was aware of what it would take to run this country.
The Health Care Bill the Democrats are trying to ram down our throats is not direct and to the point and too much can be hidden within 2,000 pages of legal mumbo jumbo that not every American can understand.

Really, like who? …
Really, like who? Canada isn’t even a free country.Sure, it’s fine if you have a sore throat, or broken bone. But something like cancer or heart disease, or chronic lung disease? I lived just across the border with relatives up there. It is not the utopia you may think it is. Not when we’re taking margarine up b/c it costsover $4 pound. The standard of living is poorer. There are other ways to solve the problem, but, since there is no debate the options are not considred. Unacceptable.

I’ll have to agree. There is no leader, this is about as grass roots as you can get. I’m a member of the Tea Party in my city. The local paper doesn’t cover us when we have a protest. The Tea Party in DC left the place in better shape than the inaugeration visitors. I guess that says something.

Enemies of our country who, through the stupidity of the masses got where they are, indeed are trying to marginalize these people. I personally know two people who don’t agree with these guys to some degree. They think they are smart, but, watch the View and read Twilight at 40 yrs old. The laziest in the office, what a coincidernce. For every person here is probably 10 others who couldn’t make it. And we’re beyond angry. I believe we have been sold out to traitors.
