What’s their incentive to pass fair logical legislation? I think it should be like the good old days when the governor appointed the senators. This creates a true DEMOCRACY not a republic which we’ve now started to accept. I don’t know… what are your thoughts?
One way to clean up … One way to clean up Congress and the Senate is to restrict the number of terms they are able to serve to a maxium of 3 terms! Limiting the terms would make it a lot harder for special interest to keep buying votes. There also must be a cap on how much a candidate can raise in campaign funds….And last but not least we must get rid of all lobbyist….that would be a good start!
I’m afraid they … I’m afraid they rake in more money as reps when you add in bribes and influance. I think the bulk of congress is there because they are just control freaks. Remove the excesive power from Washington and maybe it won’t draw so many nutjobs who like controling everyone else.
