When will congress vote For Internet Nuetrality, Will it affect my internet browesing through fourms & Online Games?
Net neutrality has been removed from the new telecom bill by the republicans. The new telecom bill will pass and Bush will sign it.
The bill gives your internet access company (DSL or Cable provider) new powers. They will have the ability to slow down or interfere with or interrupt any site or service they feel like, without telling you. If the provider of that site or service pays them a fee that is decided by the telecom company, then the speed will be normal. If not, they can slow it down or stop it altogether. You won’t be able to tell whether the site is broken or your telecom slowed it down and they won’t tell you either.
So yes. The law will be passed, and your internet provider will be allowed to slow down or interrupt your internet forums or online games whenever they want and they don’t have to tell you. If the web sites you like to visit don’t pay a special fee to your telecom company, then they will probably interrupt your access to these sites.
There is still time to call your senators and congressmen because the bills have not been voted on yet. Good luck!
PS: The Republicans want this bill and they want the cable and phone companies to have this power over your browsing. The Democrats are trying to stop it or make the internet neutral. The democrats are failing and the Republlcans are succeeding.
Whatever happens, vote this November.

Who knows when they will actually vote for it! When they do and if it passes the theory will actually be that they will shut all the bad sites off from .com .org .gov and create a new .something.
