People i know when the next presidential election is.
Well, it’s like a pendulum. Sometimes it swings to the right, then it goes back to the left. It all pretty much comes down to what the issues are at the time and which party is more capable of handling the situations. Both parties usually get a crack at it sooner or later with all of the crisis we seem to have.

Since 1933 ~~? I would say the Republicans have a 50 50 chance in 2010 to gain some important seats and 100% chance in 2012 to go back to
the Republican Bush era~~
I did not vote for Bush junior or Obama so I think this is just the way it goes

With these wimps in office it will happen. Democrats today are leaving the party because they don’t want on that team anymore. The Democrats who lean far left are destroying the party.

White House- None. Not unless the economy totally collapses with Obama. B.O. is too well loved.
Congress – very good chance to at least cut into the majority. Congress has a very low approval rating.

Going on past history alone…They have zero chance of either.
Now they do have a chance to gain some seats (just not take control), especially in the House of Representatives. Past history suggests they would gain between 10 and 15 seats in the House of Representatives, and somewhere between 1-3 seats in the Senate.
As far as the White House, too many people still blame Bush for this mess, and rightfully so. Even if Obama were to fail in making it awesome, if he gets it any better at all (and he will, past history also shows that), then the Republicans lose.
Too many Independents would just believe that Obama needed more time, and would give him that time by voting him in again. If it gets better at all, any tiny bit, Independents side Obama again.
Especially considering the ones who are looking to run on the Republican side. Republicans have some great people who could be great candidates; but none are showing any signs of wanting to run. Just the scrubs of the party.

A very excellent one; and not only that; there will be a revolution in the Republican party as well – Back to basics – both parties need to reign in spending – and get back to the core ideals for which we stand for – I believe America will be ready for a change for the better by then.

Democrats will lose seats but I don’t know about congress.
Obama is dropping so fast he would lose in 2010, but he will have to wait until 2012.

In the upcoming election?
0% – (there’s no presidential election in 2010 dummy)
and
about 30% – in all likelihood, the slow but inevitable turnaround of the economy will be credited to the Democrats, and given that there is still a good amount of time before the ’10 elections, even the Congressional Budget Committee predicts economic expansion.

That will depend a lot on what Obama does over the next twelve months or so. Even some of the democrats are getting nervous with his spending ideas….and it looks as if the banks want out of the plans he has made for them because they see the government plan as harmful….and it looks as if GM is going to be forced into a prepackaged bankrupcy which is going to tick off the unions….and so far the people seeking foreclosure assistance aren’t seeing the help they need….and a lot of businesses are still not able to get loans. If all that remains as is, I think the Republicans and/or Independents have a very good chance of reclaiming a lot of house seats…and maybe even a few senate ones.
If everything jells the way Obama says it will, they will have little chance to do much of anything.

When the mid terms roll around,Republicans WILL gain a lot of seats- Enough to even it out some more and make it a lot more difficult for Dems to destroy the Country.I don’t think they will gain complete control of either house 2 years from now, but 2 years after that, they will at least have one house and a Republican President.

I think if the democrats have as much voters fraud as when they did when Obama ran- Repubs may not win, we have to stop ACORN Org. they don’t deserve a penny of our money for what they do to intimidate and con people to vote! They even make up names and take names out of phone books! They are being prosecuted in 12 states- but if the judges are liberal they will get away with it once again!
