How many of you are glad to see that the Democrats took control of Congress? How many of you approve of Bush? How many of you are disappointed that the Democrats took control?
I am extremely disappointed that the democrats have taken control of the house & the Senate. I don’t think that people realize what is about to happen in our country. War is always a nail in the coffin of the incumbent party. It has always been that way. You guys have no Idea what you have done!!!!

Definately glad to see a change. The admin-

bad name worldwide.

Well I wont lie it does bum me out that the people have a short attention span on where the country was heading before Reagan but I wasnt surprised by the results and I believe the democrats will show their true colors again before the next presidential election. If people dont agree well then when the sh!t hits the fan remember what and whom you voted for

glad donkey’s rule.
Bush is deceitful, lazy, spoiled and stupid.
bottom line, none of them are breaking any records in making progress, country is in a total mess and Bush is gonna leave it that way in 2008.

Bush can eat my dust!!! Maybe now we’ll get something done towards the positive, like bring our guys home and let Iraq fend for themselves. I don’t vote, but I do wish this were election year for president, because I don’t think we would have to look at his lying face again. The American People are fed up w/ him.

Count me as very unhappy.
Bush will work it out though. He has a very good business head and will work with whatever he is given

I am so happy. Bush will never say he is or was wrong. I really don’t think he makes the decisions. It is all Rove and Cheney. I don’t think the President is smart enough to find his way out of a paper bag. For example, if he had any sense he would have gotten rid of Rumsfeld before the election. He doesn’t listen to the people so the people made him listen.

Does it really make a difference? It’s a 2 party system anyway. Look at their lobbyist and strong money supporters and you can see the writing on the wall in future events. Reagan for example was a democrat before he changed to republican. You could put a bunch of pig farmers in Congress and we would get more done.

I’m glad to see it… I think many Republicans were even getting tired of the actions of the congress…
we need some accountability… hopefully there will be some now…

Much actually remains to be seen. But I would say, "yes". The road that this country has been taken down over the last 6 years has gone from bad to worse to disastrous. It was definatiely time for a change. Let’s just hope that the new congress can turn this country in a better direction. Not just for our public image, but in ways that will positively touch each of our personal lives also.

It is what the Nation needed… a wake up call to the dangers within. Now America will see the liberals fro what they are. Power crazed liars who will destroy even their own nations moral to gain power. They counted the dead American Solders with glee. Lets just hope the President Bush grows a set of balls and stands up for America because he is all that left to stop them. Get the veto pen out and ink it up.

Glad isn’t the word. Ecstatic probably works better. At long last, Congress has been given back to a party that cares about the ordinary individual and not the wealthy.
Bush will have it tough from here on out getting anything through despite his claims of working together – that should last about 48 hours after the new Congress convenes in January. The village idiot’s reign of terror is over and a new day is dawning. Its about damn time!!!

I’m a Republican who was GLAD to see it happen.
Years ago (before I became a retired state employee), based upon my contacts with Agency Directors and Politicians – I started voting against all incumbents. Power corrupts and once they have been in power, they go down hill.
As former President Andrew Jackson once (is claimed to have said) "More is lost by having the same person in office, year after year, than was ever lost due to inexperience."
