Did a Republican congress and senate vote to withdraw from Somalia?

Posted by admin on June 8th, 2010 and filed under republican congress | 7 Comments »

I’m not looking for a political debate, I just heard someone at work say it and thought it was curious. If you have any sites with articles, etc, please provide them as well.
I don’t know, we’re looking for it here at the office…shhhh…and can’t find it.

no. that was the president. his name is Clinton.

the battle was chronicled in Black Hawk Down. After 9 men were killed, he got scared and pulled out.

Bin Laden refers to this as a defining moment in his war against the USA. He knew then, we didn’t have the political stomach for war.

You don’t surrender to a street gang, when you have the entire military at your disposal!

Correction with deep regrets to their memories: 18 brave young soldiers had their lives taken. Please forgive this misstatement. God Bless their families.

Republican Congress is now recommending a spending freeze…are they really wanting a depression in America?

Posted by admin on June 6th, 2010 and filed under republican congress | 24 Comments »

You may not agree with the Obama budget, but starving the economy in the middle of a repression is idiocy.

Can they be serious?

You need to learn some basic economics son.

The spending blitz that Obama is on is using borrowed money. Money is not ‘free’ nor is it available in unlimited quantities. The government has to go to the investment and capital markets to get this money.

This means that there is less money available to the economy to be used by businesses.

The reduction in money available for private investment is one of the reasons for the decline in the stock market. Instead of cash flowing towards stocks it is flowing towards government debts.

Decreasing government borrowing will free up money that can then be used to buy stocks and other economically productive investments.

If the American People choose to elect another Republican President in 2008 and Congress in both the House of Representatives and the US Senate go Republicans, what do you believe America will be like in 2009?

If Republicans take control of America in 2009, I can be insured that George W. Bush legacy of Hard Work, Success, and Prosperity can be continued for Four More Years.

Heaven, heaven on earth for sure.

Why aren’t the Republican Congress Persons holding town halls?

Posted by admin on May 31st, 2010 and filed under republican congress | 6 Comments »

They have constituents that have questions about this health care bill. Those constituents might be Democrats, independents and republicans. So, where is the coverage of their town halls, if they are having any?

They are. Where did you come up with that? My 3 republican congressmen are holding several town halls each. Maybe you should google some of the congressmen you are maligning and see what they are really going to do.
